* Definitions

o “Credit history background check” means checking the credit report . of the selected applicant or employees.

Basic Criminal record search Policy Provisions

* New Staff Employees

o State of the art Staff employees shall carry the following criminal record searches completed for a condition of employment with American Acme Corporation. For each of the history checks identified in this paragraph, the human resources office at each headquarters determines whether it or the hiring department will perform the background check.

– Employment verification – to be completed by the hiring department or headquarters human resources office

– Educational verification – to be completed through the hiring department or headquarters human resources office

– License verification – to be completed together with hiring department or headquarters human resources office; except a required motor vehicle drivers license, which usually be initiated by recruiting department or headquarters hours office and completed by Risk Management

– Criminal records background check – to get initiated from hiring department or headquarters human resources office, with final completion by the headquarters human resources office

o Foreigners who also been offered employment into appointed Staff positions will be subject to the following provisions:

Additional background checks shall include:

– Credit standing background check – in order to completed by American Acme Corporation Hr Services

o Should the American Acme Corporation has performed any of these verification or history criminal record searches on persons within seen an explosion year, an important verification or history criminal court records search of that specific category will not be required. The final results of the previously performed verification and/or history criminal history check will be regarded as in any pending employment decision.
